Drinking large amounts of alcohol on a daily basis is associated with reduced male fertility, as testosterone production is reduced and sperm maturation is impaired.
In addition, excessive alcohol consumption would also affect the testicular level and the male may suffer from erectile dysfunction, causing problems with sexual intercourse and conception. Another effect of heavy drinking is that it increases stress and anxiety levels.
