Clinical manifestations of seminal plasma allergy

Allergy, nowadays, is a disease that does not have many complications if it is well diagnosed and medicated, since with the appropriate doses of treatment the patient can lead a normal and ordinary life. When this allergy is related to semen, in a couple that wishes to have offspring, the process becomes more complicated since the allergic reaction can become very serious if unprotected sexual relations are maintained. The woman with seminal plasma allergy may present redness, inflammation, itching and burning of the vaginal area, among other symptoms.

In this case and once again, it would be necessary to resort to assisted reproduction techniques, from the simplest, artificial insemination, to the most complex, in vitro fertilization (IVF) or sperm microinjection (ICSI).
