Treatment options for women with semen allergy include:
- Antihistamines.
- Corticosteroids.
- Epinephrine.
- Immunotherapy or antigen desensitization.
In addition, in this type of patients it is essential to perform a correct washing of the semen prior to artificial insemination or in vitro fertilization in order to reduce the allergic reaction.
