What is Anejaculation?
Anejaculation is the absence of ejaculation in the male. In this case, the male does not have the capacity to expel semen, which is the fluid that transports the sperm, although it is possible that he has an orgasm.
The causes of anejaculation can be classified as follows:
- Primary
- is the group of less frequent causes and refers to the absence of ejaculation since forever.
- Secondary
- the man presents ejaculation in some sexual practices, but not at the time of intercourse.
In addition, the factors that cause an absence of ejaculation can also be divided into organic and emotional. In relation to the organic causes, they appear as consequences of various pathologies such as diabetes, diseases of the nervous system, etc.
Anejaculation is not an impediment to a man's sexual life, since it is possible to maintain erections and orgasms. However, this is not the case if you want to become a father, since reproduction is impossible.
In these cases, the solution would be to resort to assisted reproduction techniques. Specifically, in vitro fertilization (IVF) with the extraction of sperm directly from the testicle would allow a man with anejaculation to become a father.
