A study has determined that evaluating anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) in the early follicular phase of the same cycle in which controlled ovarian stimulation begins is a more reliable marker that correlates better with the number of eggs obtained at follicular puncture and with the number of eggs that will be mature (MII).
