Among the indications for performing an artificial insemination by husband (AIH) related to male sterility are the following:
- Slight alterations in the spouse's semen, so it has a poor sperm quality.
- Inability to deposit the semen in the vagina, either by premature ejaculation, retrograde ejaculation, impotence, etc.
- Cases of oligoasthenosperma, that is, low quantity, motility and morphology problems of the spermatozoa.
