Bemfola is a hormonal medicine used in assisted reproduction treatments, specifically for the ovarian stimulation phase of artificial insemination and in vitro fertilization.

The active ingredient of Bemfola is folitropin alpha, a recombinant FSH hormone obtained through genetic engineering techniques in the laboratory. Its action is to promote the growth and development of ovarian follicles in order to obtain multiple oocytes.

Bemfola is administered subcutaneously with the help of a pre-filled feather, that is to say, it is an injection that the woman must apply daily following the doctor's instructions.
