It is important that mothers take care of their health and eating habits during breastfeeding, as there are some foods that can affect breast milk and be harmful to the baby's development.
In particular, it is not advisable to abuse large fish because of their mercury content, nor pastries or sugars.
Caffeinated drinks can be taken in moderation and, in general, alcoholic beverages are not recommended during breastfeeding.
