Possible symptoms after uterine cauterization

When a woman undergoes a cervical cauterization, it is common for her to present symptoms such as the following:

  • Vaginal bleeding.
  • Profuse vaginal discharge.
  • Abdominal pain.

However, in the face of any symptom that causes concern to the patient, fever, more abundant bleeding or vaginal discharge with a bad smell, it is recommended that the woman consult the specialist immediately. The reason is that these symptoms may be due to bleeding or infection resulting from the intervention.
