    1. Hi. My partner has been told she has the gene for Huntingdon´s disease. Can we try for a baby without this gene?

      • Hello Johnsie 11,

With preimplantation genetic diagnosis, PGD, it is possible to screen the embryo(s) prior to transfer for chromosomal or genetic alterations (such as Huntingdon´s disease.). In this way, we can increase the probability of having a healthy child. If you would like more information about PGD please click here.

I hope this answers your question.
