Placenta previa is a complication that can occur during pregnancy. The placenta is located in the lower part of the uterus and obstructs the opening of the cervix partially or completely, which can cause vaginal bleeding and risk of premature delivery.
If this complication is already serious in a single pregnancy, when the gestation is multiple, delivery can be even more aggravated.
