The diagnosis of congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH) involves the evaluation of hormone levels in both blood and urine. It is important to assess the amount of progesterone, aldosterone, cortisol and metabolites.
In addition, a bone x-ray will also be helpful in the diagnosis of CAH, as well as various genetic tests.
