You can stop using the contraceptive injection at any time. Therefore, if a woman wishes to become pregnant, she will need to stop taking the contraceptive injection. From that point on, if she has regular sexual intercourse, she could become pregnant. This means that after stopping the contraceptive injection, a woman regains her fertility. Some women regain it sooner, while others may take 10–12 months.
