Donors must undergo a wide variety of medical tests such as serology, hemogram, seminogram, microbiological culture, karyotype, etc. to determine that they meet the requirements demanded by law for gamete donation.
Once all these medical tests and the psychological interview have been passed, the man will become a sperm donor. From this moment on, the sperm donor will visit the fertility clinic weekly to deposit a sperm sample for 3-4 months. However, each fertility center has its own donation protocols.
