When a woman falls pregnant thanks to embryo donation and adoption, the only medications she will need to take are those for the preparation of the endometrium firstly and those for the embryos transfer secondly.
For this reason, embryo donation stands for a simple, painless procedure, since the most “dangerous” and uncomfortable steps of conventional IVF are not required, which are controlled ovarian stimulation (COS) and follicular puncture.
