During pregnancy, it is important for women to do sports and some specific exercises to strengthen the pelvic floor and avoid episiotomy as much as possible.
Among the most important recommendations are attending childbirth classes, practicing Kegel exercises and performing daily perineal massages from 32-34 weeks of pregnancy.
