There are different treatments for fallopian tube obstruction depending on its cause. For example, if the tubal obstruction is caused by an infection, the treatment will consist of administering antibiotics to fight the infection.
Another therapeutic option is laparoscopy, as this technique allows the fallopian tubes to be unblocked.
If the woman wants to become pregnant, she has the option of using artificial insemination or in vitro fertilization. Choosing one assisted reproduction technique or another will depend on each particular case. For example, artificial insemination may be possible for women with a single blocked tube, but it would not be the recommended fertility treatment for women with bilateral tubal obstruction.
