The best way to know the status of the ovarian reserve is by visiting a fertility specialist and undergoing a study that includes an ultrasound and a blood test.
Through ultrasound, the specialist will be able to perform an antral follicle count (AFC). In addition, through the blood test, the blood values of different hormones will be determined, such as anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH), FSH, inhibin B, estradiol, LH, etc. It is advisable to perform this analysis during the first days of menstruation, as the hormones will be in basal conditions.
You have more information about these tests to find out the state of the ovarian reserve in the following article: Ovarian Reserve Test.
