By Marta Barranquero Gómez B.Sc., M.Sc. (embryologist).
Last Update: 12/16/2025

Yes. The active ingredient in Omifin is clomiphene citrate, which can be used as an adjuvant treatment. The advantages of using Omifin are as follows:

  • It allows for moderate follicular growth.
  • There is no blockage of endogenous FSH and LH.
  • It allows for a stable and progressive increase in estradiol levels.
  • The number of injections for the patient is lower.

In addition, the cost of Omifin is more economical for poor responders.
