What is occlusive placenta previa?

Occlusive placenta previa is a type of placenta previa that is also known as complete placenta previa. This means that the placenta grows in the lowest part of the uterus, completely covering the cervical opening.

Women with this condition will not be able to deliver vaginally and will need to have a cesarean section.
