Men with oligozoospermia—that is, a low sperm count in the ejaculate—may have difficulty having a baby. The lower the sperm count in the ejaculate, the more difficult it will be for the sperm to travel up the female reproductive tract to the uterus and fallopian tubes and fertilize the egg, thereby achieving a natural pregnancy.
