Women who wish to become single mothers can opt for any assisted reproductive technique, but with the help of a sperm donor. If they are young women, with permeable fallopian tubes and without any alteration, artificial insemination with donor sperm (IVF) could be attempted.
Otherwise, in vitro fertilisation (IVF) with donor sperm should be considered.
