Factors affecting male fertility

Male fertility is directly related to the ability to produce spermatozoa correctly (a process known as spermatogenesis), that these spermatozoa are of good quality and that they can be released through ejaculation.

If there is a problem in the male that affects any of these aspects, his reproductive capacity may be diminished to a greater or lesser extent.
