Blighted ovum, D&C or passing it naturally?

Hello, my gynecologist confirmed that he could not detect my baby’s heartbeat so after various analyses he concluded that it was a blighted ovum. He says & should undergo d&c but I’ve been bleeding for a few hours now and I don’t know if I should go to the hospital to have the d&c done or if it means that I’m expelling it naturally as if it was my menstrual period… Can anybody help me?

Yes, you should visit a doctor as soon as possible in order to decide if you should undergo Dilation & Curettage or if the bleeding you’re having is actually that you’re passing the sac naturally. Go to the hospital in order to prevent possible complications.
