Hello! this is my first time in this forum, and I’d like to share my story with you all…
I’m 33, and I’m about to get started with my first IVF cycle, after 5 failed artificial insemination by donor cycles. Yes, I’m all alone in this journey. The thing is, even though DI cycles were all negative, I’ve repeated all fertility tests and the results were all positive—hysterosalpingography, FSH and serology.
And this is my question: if 5 DI cycles were unsuccessful, does the success rate of donor-sperm IVF increase now? As far as I know, the answer is yes, but I’m not sure and my mind is full of doubts, mainly because I cannot understand why neither of the 5 DI cycles I did was successful 🙁
Thanks a lot!

Perhaps, the reason why you haven’t achieved pregnancy yet is due to embryo development. With in vitro fertilization (IVF), this factor is greatly improved, since early embryo development can be observed and therefore the one presenting better quality will be selected to be transferred.
Pregnancy success rates usually improve to a large extent by doing so.
Best wishes
