Well, these are two different terminologies. Sterility is quite different from infertility. Sterility means that it is impossible for a couple to conceive a child. A diagnosis of sterility is given after a thorough examination concludes that there is no sperm production and ovulation cannot occur. Infertility means that a couple is not sterile but for some reason has not been able to conceive a child. I was also diagnosed Sterility three years before. I thought that it is curable but my gynecologist suggested that it’s not curable, so I decided to go for surrogacy, the only option I had. My surrogacy was successful and now i have a beautiful daughter. But if you are infertile, a lot of medication and procedures like IUI, IVF are present with maximum success rates, you can go for them. Primary infertility can be cured with medication but in case of secondary infertility, these procedures are best. I hope you understand now.
