A recent study observed that fetuses coming from a frozen embryo transfer were slightly larger (greater crown-rump length) than those coming from a fresh transfer.
However, they also evaluated whether the stage at which the embryo was transferred influenced fetal growth. The conclusion they reached was that this greater initial fetal length is associated with frozen embryo transfer, whether embryos are transferred at the cleavage stage or as blastocysts.
