One of the most frequent concerns among patients who resort to assisted reproduction is whether laboratory procedures can affect the baby's development. For this reason, this research has been carried out to evaluate whether there are differences in fetal growth (baby's size) after a fresh transfer compared to a transfer of frozen embryos (deferred transfer).
The study reveals that fetuses coming from a frozen embryo transfer are slightly larger (greater crown-rump length) than those coming from a fresh transfer.
