Description
GAIA is a private fertility clinic located in Sabadell, Barcelona. Specifically, GAIA Fertility Clinic is situated within the TREDIC medical center, on the ground floor.
GAIA Clinic is directed by Dr. Grether Pérez Díaz, who has extensive experience in the field of assisted reproduction, while the medical director is Dr. María Esteve Martínez.
Patients undergoing assisted reproduction treatment attend the required medical consultations at GAIA Fertility Clinic and must go, at certain stages of their treatment (such as egg retrieval), to an external operating room. In any case, the same doctor who started their treatment accompanies them at all times and throughout the entire process (Dr. Grether Pérez or Dr. María Esteve).
In addition, the doctor in charge of the treatment maintains contact with her patients via email to answer any questions that may arise, making the care at GAIA Clinic very close and personalized.

Facilities
As previously mentioned, GAIA Fertility Clinic is located within the TREDIC medical center in Sabadell. Upon entering, patients will find the reception desk, made of wood with a silver horizontal stripe.
On the left-hand side, there is a hallway, and at the end of this hallway are the stairs leading down to the ground floor where GAIA is located. However, it is also possible to use the elevator, which is in the same area.
Upon going down, there is a corridor that leads to the waiting room, where patients will find a television to make their wait more pleasant.
The GAIA consultation room has a private discussion area and an examination area, separated by a grey curtain.
In the private discussion area, the doctor takes the patient's medical history. Additionally, there is a monitor mounted on the wall and connected to the doctor’s computer, which is used as a support to explain the treatments and everything the patients may need, using illustrations and videos.
In the examination area, there is a gynecological examination table and a Voluson ultrasound machine. This area also includes a private bathroom, equipped with supplies for patients and a small bench where they can leave their clothes.
In addition, GAIA also has a small room where treatment estimates are explained to patients and, if they wish, financing options are available.
How is the first visit?
The first visit at GAIA Fertility Clinic is free of charge and lasts approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.
During this initial consultation at GAIA, the patient's medical history is recorded and a transvaginal ultrasound is performed to count antral follicles and assess the ovaries, uterus, and fallopian tubes.
Depending on the case, the doctor will indicate the tests the patients should undergo to complete the fertility assessment. Afterwards, patients will be scheduled for a results consultation at GAIA Clinic, which is also free of charge. In this consultation, the test results are reviewed, a treatment plan is proposed, and a cost estimate is provided.
Alternatively, it is also possible to have a first visit at GAIA via video call, free of charge.
