After the rapid proliferation and migration of epiblastic cells, the bilaminar embryonic disc has 3 embryonic leaves: ectoderm, mesoderm and endoderm.
These 3 layers are the ones that will originate the rest of tissues and organs of the future baby through the complex process of organogenesis.
