When the pregnant woman has constant nausea and vomiting, she can start by trying certain recommendations, among which are the following:
- Rest.
- Eat small amounts, frequently.
- Drink lots of fluids, little by little.
- Avoid triggers.
However, these remedies may not be enough to calm the nausea and vomiting of hyperemesis gravidarum, so it may be common for pregnant women to go to the doctor when they have lost weight and are dehydrated.
