Hyperemesis gravidarum is characterized by intense and constant nausea and vomiting during pregnancy, but the pregnant woman may have other symptoms such as:
- Inability to eat and/or drink.
- Weight loss.
- Dehydration.
- Low blood pressure.
- Feeling faint.
In addition, hyperemesis gravidarum can lead to anemia and other serious complications in the pregnant woman.
