When natural pregnancy does not occur for some reason, there is the option of resorting to in vitro fertilization (IVF). However, for this it is important that the woman has a good ovarian reserve and is able to produce mature eggs for fertilization in the laboratory.
In addition, another requirement for a woman to undergo IVF is that she should not have any problems or abnormalities in her uterus so that the pregnancy can be carried to term.
