The ROPA method is a fertility treatment for female couples, as it allows both women to participate in the pregnancy. On the one hand, one of the women will provide the eggs and will therefore be the genetic mother.
On the other hand, the other woman will carry the pregnancy to term as the gestational mother. In this way, both women in the couple are participating in the gestation.
The price of the ROPA method is similar to that of in vitro fertilisation with donor sperm, as it is the same. In the ROPA method it is also necessary to use a sperm donor to fertilise the eggs obtained from the genetic woman.
