Testosterone is one of the main hormones in the male. Its function is to participate in the development of secondary sexual characteristics such as the appearance of the beard, body hair, etc.
Testosterone is secreted by the testes, although it is also produced in the adrenal glands.
However, testosterone is not a hormone exclusive to men; it is also secreted in women, but in smaller quantities.
