A basic fertility assessment for men consists of a medical and sexual amnesia through a complete examination of the patient. Subsequently, the semen quality is determined by means of a spermogram and a blood test is performed for an endocrine evaluation. Finally, genetic tests are performed to rule out alterations in the karyotype and microdelections of the Y chromosome.
