Seminal infections are a cause of male infertility due to testicular factor. These infections can cause scarring and obstruction in the seminal tract.
For example, if inflammation and infection of the prostate occurs, prostatitis will occur. Similarly, the male may have epididymitis, deferentitis or urethritis.
In any case, it is important to consult a specialist for any symptoms that may be indicative of a seminal infection.
