The diet of the pregnant woman should be complete and varied, especially with a high intake of fruits and vegetables. In addition, the main source of energy will be carbohydrates.
During gestation, it is not possible to eat little or no cooked food, nor sausages, since there is a risk of toxoplasmosis and listerosis transmission.
Finally, it is likely that the woman will need to take food supplements, such as folic acid, calcium or iron.
