Throughout the weeks of gestation, women will have to go to the doctor several times for different medical tests. This will check that the pregnancy is progressing correctly and that the baby's health is not at risk.
Among the most common tests for prenatal care are the following:
- Weight and blood pressure.
- Abdominal and cervical examination.
- Blood and urine tests.
- Ultrasound scans.
- First trimester screening.
- O'Sullivan test.
