Hydrocele and testicular temperature

Hydrocele is a condition in the scrotum characterized by an excessive accumulation of fluid, generally without pain. This fluid accumulation causes heat to be retained more effectively.

In this way, the thermal stress generated in the hydrocele could affect spermatogenesis (sperm production), since this occurs properly at around 34-35ºC.
