When a miscarriage unfortunately occurs, in principle, no treatment is necessary. However, sometimes not all the fetal structures are expelled and some therapeutic option must be applied, such as curettage, for example.
Other times it is decided to induce the abortion with the use of drugs, which is known as pharmacological abortion, although it may cause some adverse effects such as:
- Nausea and vomiting.
- Diarrhea.
- Chills.
- Headache.
- Vaginal bleeding.
