Cryopreserving eggs when the woman is on her reproductive years—between age 18 and 35—can allow her to become a mother later in life without going through the potential complications associated with low ovarian reserve or poor egg quality.
Conversely, women who didn't preserve their fertility when they were younger may need to use donor eggs to get pregnant in their 40s or 50s.
