The decision of the desired mode of delivery, whether natural or cesarean, is complicated. There are professionals who defend the natural way and others who bet on cesarean section. Sometimes the decision is not possible and due to certain medical problems it is mandatory to resort to cesarean section.
The advantages of this intervention to give birth are the following:
- There is no pain during childbirth due to anesthesia.
- The time of the intervention is short.
- If it is scheduled, you know exactly what day the baby will be born.
- There is a lower risk of complications for the baby.
In short, it is always advisable, as far as possible, to have a vaginal delivery, although the choice of the type of delivery should be mainly up to the specialist.
