Testicular orchitis is an inflammation of the testicle that is very painful for a man and affects one or both testicles. One of its consequences can be sterility.
The usual symptoms are swelling of the testicle, redness of the testicle, testicular and groin pain, increased temperature, nausea, etc.
The increase in temperature in the testicle, caused by inflammation, negatively affects testicular function and the process of spermatogenesis, leading to a decrease or even the total absence of sperm in the ejaculate.
