How does the ovulation test work?

In a regular 28-day menstrual cycle, ovulation usually occurs around day 14, when the LH peak or surge occurs. However, the menstrual cycle doesn't always work at the same time intervals for all women, so ovulation tests can be very helpful in detecting the fertile days when ovulation occurs.

Ovulation tests detect this increase in LH and are therefore much more reliable than other methods.
