After a caesarean section, it is important to bear in mind that it is a surgical procedure and that it requires recovery time and care. The woman must therefore take certain precautions:
- Do not lift weights.
- Do not self-medicate and take only the painkillers prescribed by the doctor.
- Allow time for recovery and avoid sexual relations and exertion.
- Walk to reduce the risk of blood clots.
- Do not force yourself and ask for help when necessary.
In addition, women should pay attention to any symptoms that may be out of the ordinary and consult a specialist.
