Men with retrograde ejaculation have problems expelling sperm, since ejaculation occurs inside the bladder. The reasons why retrograde ejaculation can occur are associated with nerve damage caused by diseases such as diabetes, multiple sclerosis or spinal cord damage. In addition, there are certain medication used for hypertension and depression that can also cause retrograde ejaculation as a side effect.
Last but not least a prostate and urethra surgery can also be one of the causes of retrograde ejaculation in men.
