The first ultrasound of pregnancy usually takes place around 6-7 weeks of gestation. From this moment on, the embryonic sac can be visualized and the heartbeat can be heard.
Thanks to this gestational ultrasound, the woman will be able to know whether she is expecting one or two babies.
