One of the tests included in a fertility study is hormonal analysis. To do this, a blood draw is performed and a series of hormones are analyzed.
In the case of testosterone, the reference values are the following:
- The testosterone level considered normal in men is between 300 and 1,000 ng/dL
- The testosterone level considered normal in women is between 15 and 70 ng/dL
As can be seen here, a man produces about 20 times more testosterone hormone compared to a woman.
