Artificial insemination (IUI) is a low-complexity assisted reproductive technique, so its price is lower compared to in vitro fertilization (IVF).
Specifically, IUI usually costs around 700-1,100 euros in Spain, although there may be differences between fertility clinics, the services included in the budget and depending on whether it is with sperm from the male partner or with donor sperm. In addition, most budgets do not include the necessary hormonal medication. This means an increase of about 400 euros in the price of AI.
Therefore, it is very important to request a personalized estimate adapted to each situation on the first visit to an assisted reproduction center to avoid surprises at the moment of truth.
